• Do not place the cable or any other object over the bread openings whilst the toaster is in operation.

• Do not attempt to dislodge food while the toaster is in operation.

• Toasting lever must be in the‘UP’ position before attaching or disconnecting the plug from wall

outlet.

• Do not insert metal objects or other utensils into the toaster, as this will cause an electric shock or

cause a fire.

D. USAGE

• Bread can be toasted as follow: Push the plug into the socket and turn on the toaster using the toast

lever. Note: When using the appliance for the first time, it will emit some smoke. This is normal and

it will stop by itself after a few minutes.

• The stop button with indicator light-the light comes on automatically once the toaster is turned on.

• The stop button is there to prematurely stop the toasting process.

• Reheat button with indicator light-the light goes on when the button is depressed.

• The reheat button is used to heat up the toast.

• The defrost button with indicator light-the light goes on when the button is depressed.

• The defrost button is used for toasting bread directly from the freezer.

• Place the bread in the toaster clip.

• The clip can be opened by pushing together by hand.
