
1. Turn the knob for the oven functions
to select an oven function.
2. Turn the knob for the temperature to
select a temperature.
3. To deactivate the oven turn the
knobs for the oven functions and
temperature to the off position.
8.2 Oven functions
Symbol Oven function Application
Off position The appliance is off.
Oven Lamp To activate the lamp without a cooking function.
True Fan Cooking To bake on up to 2 shelf positions at the same time
and to dry food. Set the temperature 20 - 40 °C low-
er than for Conventional Cooking.
Pizza Setting To bake food on 1 shelf position for a more inten-
sive browning and a crispy bottom. Set the temper-
ature 20 - 40 °C lower than for Conventional Cook-
ing.
Conventional Cooking To bake and roast food on 1 shelf position.
Drying To dry sliced fruit (e.g. apples, plums, peaches) and
vegetables (e.g. tomatoes, zucchini, mushrooms).
Defrost To defrost frozen food.
Grilling To grill flat food and to toast bread.
Light Fan Cooking To bake in tins and dry on one shelf level at a low
temperature.
Turbo Grilling To roast larger meat joints or poultry with bones on
1 shelf position. Also to make gratins and to brown.
Pyro Cleaning To activate the automatic pyrolytic cleaning of the
oven. This function burns off residual dirt in the
oven.
8.3 Cooling fan
When the appliance operates, the
cooling fan activates automatically to
keep the surfaces of the appliance cool.
If you deactivate the appliance, the
cooling fan can continue to operate until
the appliance cools down.
